Full swing of Food Festivals…

Updated: Mar 31, 2020

So its that time of year, the season of food festivals when producers and fellow foodies meet together. The May Bank holidays, June and July – I know of so many delicious events I couldn’t even start to list them.

Personally the next two weekends are busy with Tonbridge Food and Drink Festival in the Castle Grounds and on the 2nd of June Edenbridge ‘Uncorked’ our first Edenbridge Food and Drink festival – how exciting!

There is nothing quite like a British Food Festival, time to relax in the sunshine (mostly) with family and friends, sampling the best local food and drink. Tonbridge last year was just that… families strolling around eating, drinking and laughing.  Foodies sitting on the grass munching some tempting food or sipping their Pimms or local cider.  There is always lots to buy, strawberries, bread, and chutneys etc.. It’s a win/win you can feel food about supporting your local producers and have fun too!

If you are interested in a food and drink a Summer food festival is a necessity, to pick up some great tips from the cookery demos to trying the latest new products.  Food festivals are now an essential part of Summer for anyone who cares about good food and how it is produced… Happy Summer to all you foodies!
